Who's Who...

Most of the Study Centre's Courses are taught by Simon Marshall, the Centre's director.
Seminars are taught by different people.
Simon Marshall

Simon and his wife Dorit, who comes from the Faroe Islands, moved to Prague in February 2009 to set up the ICP Study Centre.
Originally from the south-east of the UK, Simon lived for 10 years in the Faroe Islands where he taught English and French, before he and the family moved to India to work at Hebron School for three years.
They moved to Britain in 1998 and Simon was pastor at Beacon Heath Church in Exeter for over 8 years before their move to Prague.  Simon and Dorit are on the Echoes missionary list.
Simon and Dorit have two children, Robert and Kristina, who are both married and live in Exeter.
Apart from an interest in theology and literature, Simon is a big fan of Bob Dylan and of cricket!

Angelo Franklin

Originally from the USA, Angelo Franklin now lives in Prague and works as the director of EU-LIFE, a Christian leadership institute offering specialized training programmes to managers and executives in Europe.
He has studied theology and linguistics at the Baptist College of Florida, Ricardo Palma University in Peru, and Saint Petersburg State University in Russia. In addition to his love of the Reformation, he is a huge fan of Dutch philosophy, Slavic and Romance languages, English poetry, classical music, and green tea.

Bill Miller

Bill Miller leads many of the Centre's Leadership Seminars. He has been working for the last 5 years as a consultant with Premiere Global Services, a global communications solution company, assisting in the development of their leadership and professional development programme. Prior to that, he worked for 8 years at the Center for Christian Leadership in Dallas, Texas.  Bill lectures at the Anglo-American University in the area of political theory and philosophy, and in management at NYU (New York University) Prague. 
His wife, Lisa, and their two boys moved to Prague in 2006.


Jim Barnes
Jim Barnes serves as Library Director of Prague Christian Library  He and his wife Laurie have been serving here in the Czech Republic with the Institute for Christian Resources since 1997 and have a teenage daughter Elizabeth, who attends Riverside School. Jim earned a B.A. in History from Milligan College in Tennessee and holds an M.A. in History from the University of Illinois and did PhD studies at the University of Toledo (Ohio). His areas of specialisation include Modern European History, Church History, and the American South. In addition, he earned a TESOL certificate from UC Santa Cruz (California). He served as an elder at ICP and has taught Church History, general as well as specialised Theological English in various capacities here in Prague.
