Intro to NT

This course will take place over 8 weeks and will give a basic introduction to the message, form and relevance of the various types of literature found in the New Testament.
The course will start with a general introduction to the New Testament after which we will study various types of literature that we find there. The format for the sessions will be a mixture of lecture, discussion and exercises.  In order to gain the most from the course, some work during the week will be needed.
The aim of the course is not simply to impart knowledge, but to encourage all of us to a deeper understanding of God’s Word so that we may be transformed in our everyday lives to be more like Jesus.
While not essential, you will gain more from the course if you read the core book and perhaps one or two of the other recommendations.
