This course takes place over 6 weeks and gives an introduction to basic Christian beliefs as they are presented in the Nicene Creed.Through a mixture of Bible study, lecture and discussion we will seek to deepen our understanding of the faith that we profess. By its very nature, this course will not be looking at the real depths of various Christian doctrines, but is aimed at equipping us all to not only know what it is we believe but to be able to explain it to others. Following this course is not about gaining mere knowledge, but about allowing the knowledge of who God is, and how he has acted in salvation, to change and transform our lives. In order to gain the most from the course, some work during the week will be needed.
While not essential, you will gain more from the course if you read the core book and perhaps one or two of the other recommendations.
