The first week is a brief run through some of the images used in the New Testament to describe the Church with the aim of helping us see the Church from God’s perspective. Weeks 5 and 6 look at the Church as it is now, in terms of its role etc, and then what the future of the Church is.
Weeks 2-4 help place the present day Church within an historical context as we look at three important areas of Church History.
By the end of the course, we hope that everyone will have been encouraged by seeing what God’s eternal plan for his people is, as well as how he has providentially overruled in history.
While not essential, you will gain more from the course if you read the core book and perhaps one or two of the other recommendations.
